Multiple emergency crews descend on east Bristol after man injured in motorbike crash

A man has been taken to hospital following a crash in St George this afternoon.

Avon and Somerset Police were called at 1:30pm to Beaufort Road to a collision involving two motorcycles.

One man was taken to hospital, but his injuries are not believed to be either life-threatening or life-changing.

A Great Western Air Ambulance helicopter landed in St George’s Park at around 2pm, and it is believed to have been responding to this incident.

Police are conducting enquiries into the collision, and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

The full police statement says: “We attended a report of an RTC involving two motorcycles on Beaufort Road, St. George which happened shortly before 1.30pm today.

“A man has been taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life threatening/changing at this time.

“Enquiries are ongoing and any witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting log 536 of 29 September.”
