Multiple arrests after disturbance breaks out in city centre

Three men have been arrested after a disturbance broke out in Glasgow's city centre.

Police were called to the scene on Union Street around 10.15pm on Monday following reports of a disturbance.

Union Street was completely closed to traffic between Gordon Street and Argyle Street until 2am while officers dealt with the incident.

It has now reopened and there was no reports of any injuries.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "Officers were called to the report of a disturbance in Union Street in Glasgow at around 10.13pm on Monday 4 May 2020.

"As a result three men were arrested. Union Street was closed for a short time while the matter was dealt with."
