A multi vehicle crash has shut off the A82 road as emergency crews swarm the scene.
Emergency services have shut off the road in both directions between Arden and Balloch.
The alarm was raised at around 2.50pm this afternoon sparking concern.
It is unclear if anyone has been injured at this stage.
Traffic Scotland said: "The A82 is closed in both directions Arden - Balloch due to a multi vehicle road traffic crash.
"Emergency services en route
"Updates as we get them."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 2.35pm, police received a report of a multi-vehicle road crash on the A82 near Balloch. The road is currently closed between Stoneymollan Roundabout and Arden Roundabout. Emergency service are currently on the scene."
