Multi-vehicle crash on A77 causing major tailbacks for commuters

A crash near the Bellfield Interchange on the A77 at Kilmarnock is causing major tailbacks this morning.

A multi-vehicle collision is causing problems southbound just before reaching the roundabout.

The incident happened around 8.50am and the traffic is very heavy on approach.

Traffic Scotland posted an update saying: "A77 southbound prior to Bellfield Interchange, heavy traffic on approach due to a multi-vehicle RTC."
