A multi-cultural futsal team based in Co Armagh have held their first-ever end-of-season awards.
Afrimeripean - whose name represents the club's players (Africans, Americans, Europeans) - celebrated the star performers over the past year.
The club was formed last year with a desire to see the sport of futsal grow in Northern Ireland, and they compete in the National League.
Afrimeripean's first season was unfortunately cut short in March because of Covid-19.
At the time they had advanced to the quarter-finals of the cup and had just come off the back of a string of good results in the league.
"We have had over 16 nationalities represented within the club since we started," explained co-founder CJ Jones.
"Our motto is 'Unity In Diversity' as we have guys of different races, religions, countries and backgrounds.
"Our name represents our players who are Africans, Americans and Europeans plus all over the world.
"We hope to start ladies and youth teams once restrictions are lifted."
