Muller has launched unicorn yoghurts for National Unicorn Day - and called them 'Unicorners'

There are holidays that officially exist, like Mother's Day and World Mental Health Day, and there a holidays which exist only in a world of Twitter hashtags and marketing campaigns - such as National Unicorn Day.

National Unicorn Day is April 9, and the latest themed product to join the mythical beast hype is Muller Unicorners.

The special edition Muller Corner yoghurts are made from strawberries and British milk and described as having a 'fresh pink' flavour, with pastel metallic crunchy balls for topping.

In the photo you'll notice someone has made the shape of a unicorn in the yoghurt with the metallic balls, which almost certainly no-one will do in real life.

They are exclusive to ASDA and the limited edition yogurts will be available both in store and online for around six months.

Available only in six pack format, the yoghurts cost £2, and the price will rise to £3.75 in June. So if you really want shiny crunchy balls in your yoghurt for cheap than you better act fast.

From June 2019, Muller says it will reduce the sugar in its Corners by up to 9 per cent, which will make the yogurts creamier in texture.
