'Mugged, shambles, comedy' - Coventry City fans on Nottingham Forest's last-gasp penalty

Coventry City fans have been reacting to their side’s last-gasp defeat to Nottingham Forest last night.

The Reds won 2-1 after Lyle Taylor netted from the penalty spot in the sixth minute of added time after he had been brought down by Kyle McFadzean.

Some Sky Blues were left aggrieved by the award of the penalty while others were critical of McFadzean.

Here’s a taste of what Coventry fans have been saying on Twitter:

Chock: The Sky Blues got proper mugged tonight by Forest right at the death and against the (second half) run of play.

Terry H: 1st half debacle. Naivety at the end. Shambles, basically.

Joel Sharp: McFadzean not ready for this level. Calamity every week. Marosi had it covered, no need to foul there. Another game he’s cost us.

Matt Clifton: I cannot even comment, literally speechless. Something off a comedy.

Liam Drinkwater: Why foul when you are about to get a point reckless.

Dan McGranaghan: That’s never a penalty.
