Mugdha Godse has been roped in to play a glamorous role in director Karthik K's upcoming film, 'File No 323' where she will be sharing the screen space with Anurag Kashyap and Suniel Shetty. Talking about how she came on board for the film, Mugdha told ETimes, "My manager and I have been meeting people and we came across this role. I met the director and went through the script. The role was very interesting so I got on board."
Although she refrained from spilling details about her role in the film, she added, "All I can say is that it is a very glamorous and very interesting role."
This is the first time Mugdha will be working with Anurag Kashyap. "Yes, this is the first time I will be working with Anurag Kashyap and that too as a co-actor. Of course, I would love to get directed by him as well some day. He is a fabulous actor. He is free-minded and brings amazing things to the table. He gives altogether different dimensions to the scenes. There is so much to learn from this person. I am really happy that I am getting to work with him. The things that I am looking forward to are some great opportunities, great work. Shooting for 'File No 323' has been a learning experience so that's been a bonus."
Talking about Suniel Shetty, Mugdha added, "Suniel Shetty is an amazing actor and he has been in this industry for so long. We had done a film together a few years back. I am happy that I am getting to work with him again in 'File No 323'. He is looking his best right now. 'File No 323' has a great script and a great star cast, so I am really looking forward to working with all of them."
Earlier, a source close to the production told ETimes, "Mugdha will be seen in a very glamourous role, wearing top line western outfits and she plays the pivotal role of a secretary to Anurag Kashyap's millionaire character. She manages his business relationships."
