King Charles III has warned that his late mother Queen Elizabeth II would have been “troubled” by much of life today, in a heartfelt video marking the centenary of her birth.
His Majesty delivered a personal message in remembrance of his “darling Mama” on what would have been her 100th birthday on Tuesday (21 April).
Without being specific on any national or global issues, the monarch said: “Much about the times we now live in I suspect may have troubled her deeply.”
