An inquest into Ms Halliday's 'unexplained death' has been opened at a coroners' court.

The teen originally came from Huddersfield and is believed to have been studying at Liverpool John Moores University.

In an in memoriam piece for the Huddersfield Examiner her family wrote: "Ella is loved by many people and will live forever in our hearts.

"A private family funeral service will be held at Huddersfield Crematorium."

The family have asked that donations in Ms Halliday's memory may be made to Candlelighters.org.uk.
