'Much better than Xhaka!' - Arsenal fans joyous as Unai Emery is spotted at Atletico Madrid game

All eyes at Arsenal are now on the Europa League final with the Premier League season coming to an end last weekend.

Finishing outside the top four by a single point after a nightmare set of results in the final few weeks, the Gunners can still qualify for next season's Champions League providing they beat Chelsea in the final in Baku.

Arsenal haven't featured in the competition since the 2016/17 campaign and they will be hoping that Unai Emery can work his usual magic in the Europa League final come Wednesday, May 29.

Well, the Spaniard has today been spotted in his home country taking in the game between Levante and Atletico Madrid.

The La Liga season comes to an end this weekend and it appears that the head coach is already plotting for next season.

Arsenal have been linked with Atleti midfielder Thomas Partey recently and many fans believe Emery is keeping tabs on him ahead of a potential summer move.

Manchester United are also said to be keen on the 25-year-old and it is reported that he has a €50m release clause in his current deal at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.

A number of Arsenal fans are keen for the Ghanaian to move to north London and some have even suggested that he will be an upgrade on Granit Xhaka in the middle of the park.

Here's what supporters have had to say on Twitter following the sighting of Emery at Levante's ground...
