‘Siesta Key’ star Madisson Hausburg has sadly announced she has had a devastating stillbirth at 37 weeks pregnant.
The 27-year-old reality star took to Instagram on Tuesday to share the sad news with her followers, as she posted a picture of the memory box she has been given by the hospital.
It was Madisson's first child with husband Ismael ‘Ish’ Soto, 47, and she revealed their baby boy, called Elliot Angel Soto, had died on 12 December in the emotional post.
“Ish and I lost our son, Elliot Angel Soto, and I delivered him stillborn at 37 weeks. Instead of leaving the hospital with our beautiful baby boy, I was wheeled out with just this memory box," she wrote in the caption.
“It's true what they say about there being no greater love than a mother's love. And there is no deeper pain than losing a child,” she bravely continued.
“Everyday I wake up to the agonizing reality that I will never again get to hold him or kiss him in this lifetime,” Madisson added, as she told her followers she was ‘completely and utterly heartbroken’.
“I love you, I miss you, my perfect little Elliot,” she ended the heart-wrenching post.
Her husband Ish, who previously served as a producer on the hit MTV reality series, also took to social media to honour his baby boy, as he said losing Elliot, who he sweetly nicknamed Eli, was ‘the hardest thing I've ever had to go through’.
“The pain of losing a child and the agony of watching my beautiful wife suffer, will haunt me for the rest of my days,” he wrote, as he called his son a ‘champion’.
“I take comfort in knowing that one day we will be united and until then I will carry you in my heart. I love you, baby Eli, my little champion,” Ish added.
Madisson announced her pregnancy back in August, as she revealed her due date was in the New Year.
“We are beyond excited to finally share the news of our baby, due January 1. We already love this little baby so much and can't wait to meet them,” the couple said in a statement at the time.
The couple got engaged last year, and tied the knot in October with the blessing of her family, after they initially had reservations over her dating a man 20 years her senior.
The beginnings of their romance was played out in the last season of Siesta Key, as Madisson was forced to defend her relationship with Ish.
Her family and friends soon began to accept they were dating, and Madisson's father gave them his blessing to buy their first home together in Los Angeles in the show’s season finale.
“I have never felt as safe and as loved as I do when I'm with Ish. He reminds me every single day how special I am and he makes me want to be the best possible version of myself,” she previously told People.
