MTV's Catfish looking for people from the UK to take part in new series

It is one of MTV's biggest, most jaw-dropping shows and now it's heading to the UK.

Producers of hit show Catfish are looking for local people to take part in the first ever series outside of America.

If you're not familiar with the show, it sees hosts Nev Schulman and Max Joseph help an individual who is trying to meet up with their online loves - all while they have suspicions of their true identity.

So with the help of Nev and Max, the aim is to discover whether or not the person they have been speaking to is real.

And let's just say there's all kinds of drama.

With the UK series in the works, MTV is now casting.

The ad says: "Have you matched with someone online? But you've never met in person?

"Do you want our help to reveal their true identity? If so, then we can help!"

All applicants must be aged 18 years and over.

If you want to be considered for the show contact the Catfish Casting Team on 07743 001261,  Catfishuk@viacomstudiosuk.com  or fill in an application form on the website here.
