MTK Global has been named as the official sponsor of the upcoming Liverpool Fight Expo charity world record attempt.
The attempt takes place from 9am until 10pm on Sunday at Camp & Furnace on Greenland Street –– and features actor and writer Daniel P. Lewis attempting a world record by sparring 150 consecutive three-minute rounds.
The event will also feature entertainment, special guests, meet and greets, photo opportunities and even more.
The charity world record attempt is to raise awareness for Foot in the Door Films CIC's local campaign: Be Inspired to Achieve - Big Film Project and is also supporting No More Knives, Cash For Kids and the Derry Mathews Academy.
Names such as Martin Murray, Sam Maxwell, Natasha Jonas and the aforementioned Mathews will all be taking part in the charity event, along with the likes of super-middleweight WBA Super, WBC Diamond and Ring Magazine champion Callum Smith, former European super-lightweight champion Robbie Davies Jr, John H Stracey, ex-IBF bantamweight king Paul Butler, Sean Dodd and many more.
MTK Global CEO Sandra Vaughan is said to be “honoured” to be involved with the event. She said: “This has some fantastic causes. These are all communities who have so heavily supported us, so it is our privilege to give back to them and to try and help them in any way we can.
