MTAR Technologies reported a sharp rise in profit for the March quarter, driven by strong growth in revenue from operations and improved operating leverage across businesses. The Hyderabad-based precision engineering company posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 44.28 crore for Q4, compared with Rs 13.72 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, marking a jump of around 223%.

Revenue from operations rose sharply to Rs 306 crore in the quarter ended March 2026 from Rs 183 crore in the year-ago period, registering growth of nearly 67%. The rise was largely led by higher product sales, which came in at Rs 303 crore compared with Rs 179 crore in the same quarter last year.

Profit before tax increased to Rs 59.54 crore during the quarter from Rs 18.62 crore a year ago, reflecting growth of almost 220%.

For the full financial year FY26, MTAR Technologies reported consolidated net profit of Rs 94.03 crore, up nearly 78% from Rs 52.89 crore recorded in FY25. Revenue from operations for the year rose around 31% to Rs 876.21 crore compared with Rs 675.99 crore in the previous year.

Annual profit before tax stood at Rs 126.15 crore against Rs 71.57 crore in FY25, translating into growth of more than 76%.

The company’s total expenses for the March quarter increased to Rs 262.92 crore from Rs 164.50 crore in the corresponding period last year. Cost of materials consumed rose to Rs 165 crore from Rs 95.66 crore, reflecting higher manufacturing activity and execution levels.

Employee benefit expenses also increased to Rs 43.05 crore from Rs 34.51 crore, while finance costs rose to Rs 9.62 crore from Rs 5.93 crore in the year-ago quarter.

On the margins front, quarterly profit before tax margin improved to around 18.4% from 10.2% a year earlier, indicating stronger operational efficiency despite higher costs.

MTAR Technologies operates in sectors including clean energy, civil nuclear power, aerospace and defence, and precision engineering manufacturing. The company has been expanding its order pipeline and execution capabilities amid rising opportunities in energy transition and strategic manufacturing segments.
