The hype for Cassius Winston leading into the 2019-20 Men’s Basketball season couldn’t really get any bigger could it? Winston is already at the top of most analysts’ preseason player of the year rankings and the Big Ten followed suit, naming the Michigan State guard as their unanimous preseason Player of the Year and today’s Big Ten basketball media day.
Of course, Winston won the award last year and placed as a second-team All-American last season after leading the Spartans to a Big Ten championship and the Final Four.
The Big Ten media already named MSU as the favorite to win the conference on Monday as well.
