Michigan State QB Brian Lewerke is one of 20 finalists for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award. This award is given out to the nation’s top senior college QB. For those who don’t know, Johnny Unitas is one of the best QB’s of all time and had the nickname, “The Golden Arm”.
Lewerke currently has 11 touchdowns on the year and 1,542 total yards to boot. He is a polarizing QB to many, but, not to me. I hope fans can enjoy his last year at MSU. He is not a Heisman candidate but he is a solid Big Ten QB.
