Michigan State football started off National Signing Day with a bang.
The Spartans picked up a surprise signing from a former Oregon State commit in the 2023 class – three-star linebacker Leonard Ah You. Ah You committed to the Beavers and Jonathan Smith out of high school in 2023, but took a mission trip the past two years, according to 247Sports’ insider Justin Thind.
Ah You ranked as the No. 50 linebacker in 247Sports’ class rankings for 2023. He was also listed as the No. 4 player from Hawaii in the class.
Ah You is the first to sign with Michigan State on National Signing Day.
