USA Today released their week 2 NCAA football bowl projections. The Spartans projection puts them against Auburn in the Outback Bowl. Per usual, the Outback Bowl pits Big Ten against SEC. Auburn coach Gus Malzahn and team are currently 2-0 on the season. One victory against Oregon 27-21 and the other victory over Tulane 24-6. Last year, Michigan State played in the Redbox Bowl vs. Oregon. The Spartans took a 7-6 loss in that game.
Look for the Spartans projections to improve with more victories, likewise, tough losses might push them to a lower bowl projection.
