Junior forward Aaron Henry has been named to the Julius Erving Award preseason watch list for the best small forward in all of college basketball. The watch list was announced on Wednesday, and included a total of 20 players.
This award is presented by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and will be handed out on April 9, 2021. Former Spartan legend Denzel Valentine won this award in 2016.

Henry considered leaving school early and entering the NBA Draft, but ultimately chose to return to East Lansing for another season. Henry is MSU’s leading returning scorer — averaging 10 points per game last year.
With both Cassius Winston and Xavier Tillman off to the NBA, Henry — who started 29 of 30 games last year — will be more of a offensive vocal point for the Spartans this season.
