Jeff Goodman of Stadium is high on the Spartans for the 2023-24 season.

Goodman released an updated batch of preseason college basketball rankings for the 2023-24 season, which had the Spartans near the top fo the country. Goodman has Michigan State listed at No. 3 — only behind No. 1 Kansas and No. 2 Duke.
