MSU Basketball at Nebraska: Stream, broadcast info, prediction for Sunday

Michigan State basketball will head to Lincoln looking for its first Big Ten win of the season on Sunday night.

The Spartans will take on Nebraska on Sunday evening in a Big Ten matchup. Both Michigan State and Nebraska dropped their conference openers earlier this week and will be looking to get back to .500 in Big Ten play with a win on Sunday.

Michigan State has gotten off to a brutal start this year, with a 4-4 record. The Spartans lost by double-digits to Wisconsin earlier this week and are in desperate need of a win on Sunday.

Nebraska is also looking to get things going in the right direction again on Sunday. The Cornhuskers opened the season 7-0 but have dropped their last two games by double digits against Creighton and Minnesota — the first two solid teams Nebraska has faced this year.

Can Michigan State bounce back from another loss and earn its first Big Ten win of the year? Check out my prediction and all of the key game details for this matchup between the Spartans and Cornhuskers below:

Game Prediction

Prediction: MSU 67, Nebraska 72

Michigan State is in a bad place right now and will be playing their first true road game of the year on Sunday. That’s a bad recipe. Mix in the Spartans’ inability to get off to a fast start and I fear Michigan State will once again fall into a hole they won’t be able to dig out of against the Cornhuskers. This would be a bad loss for Michigan State, but I’m not confident in this squad right now to earn a road win in league play.
