MSU Baseball to host pair of Prospect Camps this Fall

It was announced this weekend on Twitter and the MSUSpartans.com athletics website that the Michigan State Spartans Baseball team and head coach Jake Boss will be hosting a pair of Prospect Camps this fall for high school baseball prospect.

Here is what the camp is, according to the website:

“Our prospect camp is designed to allow each prospect the opportunity to showcase their entire skill set while being evaluated by the entire Michigan State coaching staff in every aspect.  We will split the camp into two sessions, a morning and an afternoon. The morning session will serve as a pro style workout, where prospects will be evaluated in running the 60 yard dash, as well as fielding, throwing, and hitting.  We will also have position play where you will receive individual instructions by all the coaches and current players.  We will then break for lunch.  After lunch the second session will be dedicated to playing games, hitting, and an introduction to our strength and conditioning program.  Advantages of coming to our camp include: gaining exposure in the recruiting process, acquiring valuable skills & techniques to become a better player, meeting & interacting with our current players.  Along with our entire coaching staff, there will be several other college coaches in attendance evaluating you as well (DII, DIII, NAIA, JUCO).”
