MSNBC’s Steve Kornacki just refuses to go home so now he’s a meme

I assume plenty of people at MSNBC have pleaded, cajoled even tried to strong arm political analyst and now beloved viral star Steve Kornacki into going home, but the man simply refuses to stop working.

Kornacki started on Tuesday, and as far as I and the rest of the internet can tell, has taken only a few limited breaks over the past three days. As we roll into Friday, and closer to a final call on who the next President of the United States will be, Kornacki is still going strong, refusing to abandon us, his loyal subjects, in our time of need.

Last night, around midnight eastern, MSNBC said that Kornacki was “having a mandatory rest and food period,” which comically made it sound like they had sent an overexcited toddler home to take a nap.  A few minutes later though, Kornacki tweeted for the first time in two days, saying he was heading back into the studio.  Of course, the internet loved it and so, so many amazing Kornacki memes and jokes were born.

The man is a machine. An unstoppable madman fueled by diet cokes and a pure, insatiable need for data. And because we all love him, I think I speak for everyone when I say Steve, please, please get some sleep.
