MSN Readies Blogging Service Beta

"Expanding its reach into new content services, Microsoft Corp. on Wednesday acknowledged that its MSN division will launch a beta of its blogging service next week. However, the new service will be offered only in Japan," reports eWeek.

"Separately, MSN also is working on a blog search service, MSN Blogbot that is expected to go live within the next few months."

Comment: Microsoft already has blogs for small numbers of developers and students as part of its community services.
