Chocolate lovers in Bristol should count themselves very lucky husband and wife Michael and Jennifer Potts decided to open their first café here.
Mrs Potts Chocolate House, which opened on Park Street in 2017, is an absolute paradise for fans of cocoa with a delicious menu of treats made in-store.
And as the weather begins to pick up it has just launched its summer menu, which includes a mouthwatering array of chocolatey goodness for all ages to enjoy.
Adding to its existing milkshake range which includes chocolate, vanilla, cookies and cream and toasted marshmallow varieties, there is now also the option of banana and strawberry and cream milkshakes at Mrs Potts.
All of these shakes are made purely from real fruit, milk, fresh cream and Marshfield ice cream.
The incredible dessert range has also been extended, with additions including a brownie ice cream sandwich, chocolate and peanut butter sundaes and a white chocolate and strawberry cheesecake Eton Mess.
Customers can also build their own sundae, choosing items they want it to include using a tick-box menu, for £4.90.
Another new arrival likely to be popular are the popsicles, with options of raspberry cheesecake or the vegan peanut butter banana.
The café has also added to its range of cold drinks with chocolate, mocha and coffee frappes and iced coffees on offer, which are ideal for cooling down in the hot weather.
There is also now the option of frozen lemonade, which is incredibly refreshing and the perfect palate-cleanser to go with the chocolate.
But the highlight of summer at Mrs Potts is surely the s’mores cooking experience in the outdoor area, which makes a return after rave reviews last year.
Provided with slabs of chocolate, giant marshmallows, gram crackers and a miniature cooking stove, you get to toast your marshmallow and then assemble the rest of the s’more.
Not only are the s'mores delicious but it’s a fun activity for kids.
