Mrs Hinch shares sneak peek of her new mushroom kitchen at Hinch Farm

Sophie Hinchliffe, more commonly known as Mrs Hinch, is moving from her crushed velvet home, into a £1.1 million five-bed farmhouse.

Since announcing the move, Mrs Hinch has shared her renovation journey with fans - including her plans for her new kitchen. In her previous home, Mrs Hinch was famous for grey kitchen cupboards and white worktops, complete with a large serving hatch opening out onto the dining room.

But in her new abode, Mrs Hinch appears to be opting for an open-plan kitchen. Pictures from her Instagram story show a large yellow room with French doors and ceiling lamps. Old units from the kitchen can be seen outside.

Mrs Hinch said: "Hello everyone. So this here will be our new kitchen. It's all empty now so project kitchen is ready to behind guys. First stop underfloor heating.

"We have kept the kitchen cupboards that were in here originally because we are spraying them and making a garden kitchen in our out building. I'm excited to get going with that."

In a second update, Mrs Hinch posted an image of the rear of her house. She explained: "This is the base for our orangery guys. We've chosen to go for a wooden framed style. We will be removing these doors to make it all open plan so that the kitchen flows straight through into the orangery."

She also delighted fans after sharing a mock-up of what her kitchen will look like. In the graphic, Mrs Hinch has chosen a neutral theme of mushroom and off-grey. The style, while modern, also retains its farmhouse charm.

Mrs Hinch said: "Oh my! Sneak peek. We have our first draft kitchen design guys. I can't blooming believe it.

"We opted for brick slips to go on this wall that will head out to our orangery. The kitchen island we have designed into a booth, which I thought would be perfect for when the boys are eating their breakfasts and I can still get on in the kitchen if needed."

Some further additions to the kitchen include a black chandelier, 'T&G griege mushroom' coloured door fronts and an off-grey stone floor.

In January, Mrs Hinch announced her move to a sprawling five-bedroom farmhouse in the Essex countryside. 'Hinch farm' is set on 1.7 acres and has a gated driveway, grand staircase, stables and five bedrooms.

Mrs Hinch said: "It's time to write a new chapter in our story. We will never be able to thank you all enough because without our crazy little Insta world this wouldn't be happening.

"I can't wait to take you all along with us!! Welcome to our new home everyone...Hinch Farm."
