Mrs Hinch's dad and grandmother hospitalised as she tearfully updates fans on social media break

Mrs Hinch has revealed her dad and her grandmother are in hospital as she has opened up to her followers during a tough time in her life, which has led to her social media presence being notably quiet.

The 33-year-old cleaning icon also revealed her eldest son Ronnie is being assessed as she gave an emotional update to her 4.7 million fans on Monday on her Instagram account.

Sophie Hinchliffe is mum to son Ronnie, three, and two-year-old Lennie who she shares with her husband Jamie Hinchliffe. She became an overnight sensation and is now one of the most influential social media presences across the globe thanks to her nifty cleaning hacks.

Mrs Hinch's posts on her Instagram, which often also update on her loving family life, have reduced drastically in recent weeks and earlier this week revealed she had been going through some "personal life stumbles".

Now, in an emotional video, the Mirror reports the Instagram influencer has revealed the reasons behind her social media absence.

Speaking to the camera, she said: "I thought I would come on for a bit of a random chat," before talking about a lady in Scotland who she follows that often has a "blether" (meaning long-winded chat) to her followers.

Sophie, who wore minimum makeup as she pushed her hair away from her face with a headband, continued to explain how "this is not a 'woe is me' situation" but she just wanted to "catch up" with her loyal fleet of fans.

She said: "So, my dad is in hospital at the moment.

"My dad has never been blessed, shall we say, with fantastic health, from his chest, his lungs, his heart. He's always struggled."

Sophie then spoke about how she made her dad a workshop following his retirement when she and her family moved into their £1million "forever home" farmhouse, which they filled with wood and tools so he "could live this dream that he's had since he was a little boy."

The cleanfluencer said her dad was in "very safe hands" in hospital and praised the "incredible" nurses who were caring for her beloved father.

"So I'm hoping dad will be home one day this week and can really enjoy doing what he loves doing again. I just want him to be happy," she said.

The social media star then revealed her grandmother is also in hospital after a fall.

She explained: "My nan is also in hospital. guys bless her heart she's had a fall.

"I know for a fact with my nan this affects her quite a lot mentally. The thought of having a fall.

"When you get older you worry more. Having loved ones in hospital is just not nice. It's just a worry, it's just something that you never want."

In another emotional update in the clip, Mrs Hinch revealed her son Ronnie is having "a few different assessments".

Holding back tears, she said: "Jamie and I have been going through a few different assessments, a few different processes with our Ron at the moment.

"As parents, we are going through... we're just navigating our way through things at the moment ourselves."

After the emotional clip, Mrs Hinch shared a series of snaps from a trip with her husband and children.

As she re-posted the photos on her Instagram story, she wrote: "I would love to know how many of you guys have visited here?

"If so what do you think? Ron & Len absolutely loved it I'm just taking one day at a time right now so I'm happy I got to do this with the boys".
