Cleaning sensation Mrs Hinch has shared an incredible hack on how to clean out your hoover and shows just how dirty they can get.

The guru, 30, revealed her step-by-step method with her 3.3million Instagram followers as she got to work with yet another of her amazing tips.

It turns out we should be cleaning our hoovers around once a month - as they can trap dirt and hair in all the nooks and crannies.

Mrs Hinch, 30, shared her step by step method as she dismantled her hoover (Instagram/Mrs Hinch)

Mrs Hinch started by dismantling her hoover and advised to always read the instructions so you can easily put it back together again.

The Essex-based cleaning whizz, whose real name is Sophie Hinchcliffe, rinsed the filter in warm water without soap.

The next step was to use a "slightly damp cloth" to wipe everything down.

Mrs Hinch then used nail scissors to cut along hair trapped on the brush roll (Instagram/Mrs Hinch)

Mrs Hinch recommended using a sonic scrubber on those "hard to reach places".

The cleaning sensation tackled the brush roll which filters all the hair dust and dirt from the carpet.

She said: "Remove any string, hair or debris."

She showed her followers a huge ball of hair and debris pulled from the hoover (Instagram/Mrs Hinch)

Mrs Hinch then used nail scissors to cut along hair trapped on the brush roll - before showing followers a huge ball of dust and debris pulled from the hoover.

She then washed the roller in water and finished off by replacing the brush cover and checking the vacuum for wind blockages.

She said: "I'm so excited right now I feel like I have a brand new hoover. I hope this helped guys, it helped me."
