Mrs Hinch has opened up about the dark side of social media after having to phone the police due to online threats.
The cleaning guru is renowned for her tips, tricks and hacks for keeping a tidy home.
The social media star has over 3.7 million followers on her Instagram account, and regularly posts her daily cleaning routine on her story.
Speaking to Holly and Phil on This Morning, Mrs Hinch said: "It's been amazing, it's been incredible, I'm so, so lucky to be on this journey but at the same time, it's petrifying...
"I'm trying to keep up but sometimes, I can't.
"The positives far outweigh the negatives but the dark side of it can be really dark - I was never ready for this."
She continued: "I've always had it as a light hearted fun place to be, I want people to come on and have a laugh... but I need to shine a light on this.
"There's a whole side to this that's... really daunting... it's time to speak up... this is my chance to say it.
"It's got to a point where if I don't address it, it's getting too hard not to now."
Pushing her on how bad the threats from trolls have got, Holly said: "It has been threatening, it's got so serious you've felt the need to get the police involved."
Sophie replied: "I've got a fantastic team around me to help me feel safe at home again. I try and keep myself focused.
"My followers are amazing which outweighs it, but it's too hard not to address it, especially when it comes to family."
