Mrs Hinch has revealed that her deep insecurities led to her having a £6000 gastric band fitted - which then ended in agonising emergency surgery .
The Instagram star, who has millions of followers online, spoke of how during her late teens she piled on the pounds, feasting on McDonald's Drive-Thru takeaways.
But her insecurities eventually got the better of her after she couldn't fit in a ride at a fairground.
“It hit me… the stares, the way people look at you," she told The Mail on Sunday’s You magazine .

The cleaning sensation, real name Sophie Hinchcliffe, opted to take out a £6000 loan to get the gastric band fitted while working as a part-time hairdresser aged just 21 - but it didn't all go smoothly.
Two years after having it fitted, the Queen of Clean was left in crippling pain after it ended up being lodged in her oesophagus.
The cleaning whizz still has the gastric band inside her, as You magazine reports, but it is now unclipped so doesn't work.
She told the publication: “The surgery works for some people. But for me, if I had known the complications and the risks, I wouldn’t have done it.”

Sophie lost a dramatic eight stone while the band was fitted - which led to excess skin on her arms which she had removed in 2016.
She added: “Body shaming angers me, because even if you lose the weight you never forget the comments.
"I’m still not 100 per cent confident with my body but I’m getting there.”
Sophie has gathered a whopping 2.1million Instagram followers who enjoy her "Hinching" cleaning tips.
Five months pregnant, she is also reportedly keen to take things easy - and even says she's turned down TV offers.
