While it's easy to opt for white furniture or clothing, it can often be a gruelling task to maintain the colour. Whether it's prone to getting dirty quickly or it fades in the washing machine, the high maintenance of the product alone may seem pointless.
A brave woman, however, took the courage to purchase white bedding but has now sought advice on how to maintain its colour. Taking to popular Facebook group Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips - which boasts more than 627,000 members - one member revealed that she's keen to find the 'best washing method' to keep her new sheets pristine and white.

In the Facebook post, they wrote: "New white company bedding."
"What is the best washing method to keep it white - other than just a whites wash?" she questioned.
Rushing to the comment section, people were keen to share their insightful advice and budget-friendly solutions to the common issue.
Taking to the post, people were in agreement over the same product - as one person said: "Dr. Beckmans white sachets."
"Dr Beckermans," another agreed.
Dr. Beckmann Glowhite is a popular product amongst households and retails at the cost-effective price of just £1.50.
The product is available to purchase from a variety of stories, including the likes of Amazon, Wilko, and Sainsbury's.
While Facebook users were quick to praise the Dr. Beckmann product, others were keen to share their first-hand advice and opinion on efficient methods.
One person said: "I always put vanish for whites in my washes."
On the other hand, someone suggested: "White vinegar in softener tray, bicarb, always white and smells lovely for longer. Doing this for years. Good luck."
"Wrong time of year, but drying in the sunshine!" A third penned.
A fourth wrote: "A scoop of Napisan."
