Mrs Hinch fan's miracle £4 washing machine trick is wowing people

Cleaning guru Mrs Hinch has racked up thousands of fans with her handy tips.

Her legion of supporters now even have their own Facebook group, in which one mum posted impressive before-and-after photos of her washing machine drawer.

Her post came after giving the machine a deep clean, rinsing its drawer with Fairy Platinum washing up liquid and then using an old toothbrush to finely clean.

She said: "I used bicarbonate of soda and white vinegar to remove all odours and smells."

The mum finished by using 75p Astonish Mould and Mildew spray, with the cost of the transformation coming to just £4.

She told fellow Mrs Finch fans to soak their drawers in hot water, before turning on the washing machine to remove any lasting bits of mould.

The advice won praise in the group, one comment reading: "Wow, great job! Mine looks like your before photo. On my list to do this week."
