A Mrs Hinch fan has divided opinion after being delighted when her fiancé got her a mop for her birthday.
Mum-of-two Demi Barnete revealed her other half had got her a Flash mop from Wilko's as "an early birthday present".
She said: "It’s my birthday tomorrow so my partner got me all this as an early birthday present when we were in Wilko’s today."
The post on the 'Mrs Hinch Made Me Do It' Facebook page attracted a barrage of negative comments from users who were horrified at the "shocking" gift.
But the nasty comments left the mum upset and anxious and she set the 'haters' straight - telling them she felt lucky to get this as one of her many birthday gifts.
She said: "Before I get any more unwanted comments this isn't my only present from him we were out in Wilko today and I said how I wanted this mop so he said another birthday present and put it in the basket.. also we aren't all lucky to have loads of money and big home and I have two baby’s so things like this make me very happy."
This prompted more than 500 comments from other users who backed the young mum's choice of gift.
One user wrote: " You shouldn't have to explain yourself to anyone. Even if you had all cleaning products for your birthday who cares as long as you’re happy and at least you've got someone who is lovely enough to buy them for you."
Another said: "I don’t understand people who feel they need to belittle this or be nasty. He did a nice thing, nice things don’t always have to be expensive or extravagant."
Others said they had received similar gifts from spouses for birthday and Christmas.
One mum wrote: "My other half brought me a shark hoover for xmas I was over the moon."
Another said: "One of my best birthday presents was a steam mop off my mum! Lasted me years."
