Mrs Hinch addresses viral spaghetti hoops pie after baffled fans branded it 'slop'

Mrs Hinch has addressed the backlash over her bizarre spaghetti hoops pie recipe after it went viral when baffled fans branded it 'slop'.

The social media star, whose real name is Sophie Hinchcliffe, took to Instagram last week to share the recipe for ‘the quickest pie ever’, which also included layers of mashed potato, spinach, cheese and fried eggs.

Fans were left horrified by the spaghetti hoops pie and it soon went viral, with some even branding it a “national disgrace”.

One outraged fan shared a video of the recipe on Twitter which racked up thousands of likes, writing: "It’s been over 24 hours and yet my mind is still consumed by the chaotic slop Mrs Hinch had for her lunch yesterday."

Mrs Hinch has since commented on the viral attention of the dish and joked that while the pie looked “shocking”, her toddler loved it.
