It's the gift that keeps on giving for the BBC, after the sitcom beat all the other channels on Saturday night even though it was a repeat, reports the Sun. The Brendan O'Carroll comedy was watched by 4.4 million viewers, while the best ITV could muster was the 3.4 million for celeb talent show, Your Face Sounds Familiar, and Channel 4 pulled in just 1.3 million for The Million Pound Drop Live. Let's hope new BBC1 controller Charlotte Moore appreciates it as much as her predecessor, Danny Cohen.
