Mr Tee King of Desserts is in Bristol tonight for the final time this year

It is no exaggeration to say Mr Tee and his van, from which he serves ice creams and desserts, gets people excited.

But with summer at an end, and the demand for ice cream waning, the King of Desserts has confirmed tonight will be his final visit to the Bristol area this year.

He allowed his followers on Facebook to vote for his last Bristol location of 2019 with Patchway winning over Kingswood by a nail-bitingly close 0.1 per cent.

Desserts are now being served in the car park of The Royal Mail building, just off the A38.

Although a closing time has not been revealed Mr Tee usually serves until around 11pm.

For the uninitiated Mr Tee serves crazy ice cream sundaes piled high with pancakes, waffles, cake, sweets, biscuits and just about every other type of confectionery you can imagine.

He has garnered a Facebook fan base of more than 200,000 people who will queue for hours for one of his masterpieces.

But don't worry if you cannot get to Patchway tonight, Mr Tee has said with the summer season over he is available for private events.

Party anyone?
