Mr Tee King of Desserts and his famous van visited Bristol - this is what happened

If you have a sweet tooth and wanted a little something to finish off tea tonight, then there's some good news.

The self-proclaimed 'King of Desserts', Mr Tee, is in Patchway.

His van has pitched up at on Coniston Road car park, Mr Tee's colourful van doesn’t just serve top notch ice cream, but some of the most eye-catching, mouthwatering desserts money can buy.

Who is Mr Tee?

Mr Tee, real name Tee Smith, is a social media sensation serving his ice cream creations to thousands.

Speaking to the Liverpool Echo last year, Mr Tee talked through how he came up with the idea to create his now famous dessert trucks.

He said: "I owned a pizza and kebab takeaway for 10 years and someone approached me to buy this business so I decided it was time for a change.

"I'm always thinking outside the box, always been very creative, so I bought my first ice cream van about three years ago.

"About two years ago, I started doing Easter egg shells with ice cream. People just went mad for them, then I started coming up with all these ideas and Mr Tee King of Desserts was born.

"As well as ice-cream desserts Tee also serves up hot waffles, cakes and cookies.

Tee is married to Sam who works on the vans with him.

When Mr Tee is in town there are always long queues but fans of the ice cream innovator say that it's well worth the wait.

He usually stays around to until 10.30pm, so there is plenty of time to get there and get your fill of ice cream and waffles.
