Mr Stink by David Walliams - review

David Walliams, Mr Stink

In a park, lives an old man, who lives on a bench. His name is Mr Stink because he absolutely pongs! Everybody hates the smell of him. But one day, a 12 year old girl named Chole decides to pluck up the courage and speak to the tramp. As Chole finds out the truth of Mr Stink, maybe he isn't that bad after all?

I think that Mr Stink is an amazing book with a fantastic moral at the end. The book is hilarious and full of jokes. I love the description because it brings the book to life much more. The illustrations are unbelievably good and just gives the book a bit more "oomph!" The book is an easy-to-read book and suits children over the age of 8. David has added loads of detail and care to the book and that's why it's a best seller.
