Mr Motivator to serve mourners his ashes inside fish sarnies at his funeral

Energetic breakfast TV icon Mr Motivator plans to feed funeral guests his own ashes when his time eventually comes.

The fitness fanatic, real name Derrick Evans, will mix them in with fish paste and serve them at the post-service buffet.

The 66-year-old says he is serious and than plans are already in place - but his friends and family will have to wait a while before they get a taste of the 90s telly great.

He says he plans to live for nearly another 50 years, according to the Daily Star .

Derrick's colourful Lycra outfits and contagious enthusiasm made weekday mornings that much easier for millions but his pals may want to swerve the sarnies when he does eventually leave them all behind.

“When you have a funeral in Jamaica loads of people just want free food," said the GMTV go-to fitness guru.

"So I want my ashes mixed up with fish-paste and made into sandwiches and given out to people. It’s all planned.”

But he added: “I’m living to 114 though. The years have been kind to me because I’m positive.”

Derrick has already planned his service but he is sure that his lifestyle will help him be around for a long time yet.

He says he is in the best shape of his life and urged others to work out more to get themselves in the best place possible.

“My message is more important now than it has ever been," he told The Sun in May.

“Over 75 per cent of the population does no exercise, isn’t that crazy? “We all sit down too much. In theory, you don’t have to leave your room to do anything now.

“It won’t be long before we’re all getting bed pans so we literally don’t even have to venture to the bathroom. I want people to realise fitness can be as accessible as ordering your food online — with one click you can get a free workout online."
