Mr Flashy shows off newest wealth after huge Temple Bar cocaine bust arrest

A notorious gang boss who was arrested and then released after gardai seized more than €60,000 worth of cocaine is showing off his wealth with a new Rolex watch and designer jacket.

The north Dublin criminal - dubbed Mr Flashy and is regarded as one of Dublin’s most dangerous criminals - posted a video to social media showing off his luxury gold Rolex watch on his wrist while wearing a €2,000 Louis Vutton jacket.

The Day-Date Oyster 40mm yellow gold Rolex watch on Mr Flashy’s wrist has a price tag of around €35,000.

Flashy - who heads a mob of young criminals nicknamed the Gucci Gang because of their love of bling and expensive clothes - had been keeping a low profile since his arrest in March. But now he has come out flashing his bling on social media.

He was one of eight people arrested in an apartment in Dublin’s Temple Bar area when gardai from Pearse Street Drugs Unit raided the premises and seized just short of 1kg of cocaine.

Flashy, who is based in the Finglas area of the city, along with the other seven, were all later released without charge. Files are being prepared for the DPP and investigations are continuing.

Earlier this year, Dublin Live revealed how Flashy’s former bosses in the Kinahan gang turned against him - and sent a hitman to Ireland to kill him.

Sources revealed that the cartel, led by Daniel Kinahan, 43, believe he is now a liability because of the Garda attention on him.

He was regarded as an important cog in the Irish drugs arm of their empire – but relations have now soured.

Sources say the cartel is angry Flashy has become involved in a bitter gang feud that has left five men dead – and are bringing even more Garda heat on the drugs network.

And they are also annoyed that Flashy is using the Kinahan name to threaten other criminals in the Dublin area.

The cartel was so annoyed with Flashy that it spent thousands of euro to send a foreign-based hitman to Dublin to kill him – but gardai foiled the plot.
