Mr Flashy associate dies in hospital following gunshot wound

This is the associate of Mr Flashy who died in hospital from a gunshot wound to the head.

Patrick Caslin, 26, was discovered lying in a green area off Mellowes Avenue in Finglas at around 8pm on Thursday night.

He was pronounced dead in hospital on Saturday evening.

Gardai are exploring a number of theories including that Caslin may have shot himself by accident.

Investigators are also probing whether Cashlin, who is known to them but not considered a serious criminal, may have been the victim of a gangland attack due to his relationship with northside drug trafficker Mr Flashy.

Flashy, who gained his nickname due to his love of designer clothing, has been embroiled in a number of ongoing feuds with crime gangs.

They have seen a number of beatings handed out, attacks and shootings.

Gardai have been keeping a close eye on the simmering feuds, but fear they may explode out of control into open warfare.
