The earnings from Friday helped push the overall figures to an estimated Rs 25.75 crore nett. Despite a strong start, the film's performance on its second Friday was far below its opening day collection of Rs 6.75 crore.
The movie recorded an overall 13.21% Hindi Occupancy on its eighth day, which is considerably lower than the previous week's numbers. Last weekend, the film enjoyed a successful debut, earning Rs 4.6 crore on Saturday and Rs 5.5 crore on Sunday, culminating in a first weekend collection of Rs 16.85 crore nett. It remains to be seen if 'Mr And Mrs Mahi' can recover and boost its earnings during the second weekend.
On the global front, 'Mr And Mrs Mahi' has grossed over Rs 30 crore, adding to its overall performance despite the domestic slowdown.
Directed by Sharan Sharma, 'Mr And Mrs Mahi' tells the inspiring story of Mahima, a doctor who discovers her cricketing talent with the support of her husband, Mahendra, played by Rajkummar Rao.
