The Labour MP who was the target of a far-right neo-Nazi assassination plot has been applauded in the House of Commons.
Rosie Cooper, who represents West Lancashire received tributes from Speaker John Bercow, Home Secretary Sajid Javid, Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn and Commons Leader Andrea Leadsom after she raised a point of order about her case.
Mr Bercow told Ms Cooper: "I salute the honourable lady."
In a point of order Ms Copper told the Commons: "With only sentencing left I'd like to thank the Prime Minister, the Leader of the Opposition and every member of this house for their support over two difficult years.
She also paid tribute to the whistleblower who revealed the plot saying without Robbie Mullen's actions she "might not be here".

Ms Cooper said her murder was planned by the neo-Nazi "to send a message to this place, to send a message to the state."
She said:"Members of this House are regularly abused and attacked.
"Our freedoms, our way of life and our democracy is under threat."
The MP also suggested to the Home Secretary Sajid Javid that he look at the "diplock process for terrorist trials".
Diplock courts were criminal courts in Northern Ireland used for political violence and terrorism cases during the troubles where no jury was involved.

Renshaw of Skelmersdale, Lancashire, had bought a machete, carried out research online and revealed his plans at a Warrington pub in July 2017.
He was convicted of her murder, and grooming two young boys in two separate trials.
But a he was not convicted of being a member of banned neo-Nazi group National Action.

Renshaw's sickening plot to murder an MP and a police officer was exposed by whistleblower Robbie Mullen.
Mr Mullen said that the murder plots were Renshaw’s attempt to cover up the child sex offences.
Renshaw has not yet been sentenced.
