Melbourne’s architectural landmark MPavilion opens for the second year, serving as a meeting place and and event hub over summer . This year’s pavilion has been designed by AL A, the studio of award–winning British architect Amanda Levete, who describes it as “a forest canopy in the heart of the city”.
The pavilion will host design talks, architecture walks, film screenings, music programs, curated gatherings and cultural events. The program has been partly shaped by Levete, and includes collaborations with ACMI, Google’s creative lab, London design festival and Melbourne festival.
