The independent voice of Manchester’s media and creative community has announced that Warburtons' head of marketing communications Jane McMillan will be the chair of judges for its annual awards later this year.
Jane McMillan will take on the role for the MPA (Manchester Publicity Association) Inspiration Awards 2020 for its eighth year. She has worked at Warburtons since 2004 and was promoted to her current role in 2017.
She has helped deliver campaigns featuring company chairman Jonathan Warburton coming face-to-face with stars such as Sylvester Stallone, the Muppets, Peter Kay and, most recently, Robert De Niro.
Ms McMillan said: “I am both delighted and honoured to be working with the very talented creative digital and media community in Greater Manchester.
"I look forward to reviewing all the amazing work that is bound to be entered and guiding the judging panel to reward the best work there is out there”.
Cindy Simmons, managing director of the MPA, said she was "delighted" to make the announcement.

In June, the MPA board made the decision to extend the call for entries time frame, so businesses could focus on what they needed to achieve over the coming months.
At the same time, the decision was also taken to move the awards dinner to March 10, 2021.
