MP Mantralayin Karmachari Sangh to hold protest on Tuesday

BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh Mantralayin Karmachari Sangh would protest for their demands including payment of arrears, salary increment, and dearness allowance among others on Tuesday.

The employees union would stage dharna and protest outside the secretariat. Office bearers said the protest would be held in front of gate number six of Vallabh Bhawan II between 12 and 4 in the afternoon. Office bearers also said they would follow the social distancing and other corona protocols in the protest.

The employees union stated of noticing for past some time general administration department transferring employees and officials with ill-motive without any reason. Employees Union have already submitted a memorandum comprising their long pending demands and about their protest to office of chief minister, chief secretary and other authorities concerned on July 14.

Madhya Pradesh Mantralayin Karmachari Sangh planned agitation in three phases. In the first step, the employees and officials would hand over a memorandum to the chief minister highlighting their pending demands. In the next phase, the employees would stage dharna and later will go on mass leave. Their pending demands mainly include salary increments pending for two years, pending dearness allowance and promotions pending for the past five years.

Earlier, the government employees protested in March this year for their ignorance in the state budget. Employees union stated in the state budget for 2021-2022 there was no provision made for pending dearness allowance or releasing of salary increments for the government employees. It led to government employees getting disheartened.
