Mozambique vs Cameroon LIVE
The remaining last-16 fixtures at Africa Cup of Nations were finalised by the conclusion of Group F on New Year’s Eve, with Mozambique - despite a 2-1 defeat here in Agadir - sneaking through to face Nigeria while Cameroon, the victors today, prepare to take on South Africa.
The Mambas took an early led thanks to a brilliant curling effort from in-form midfielder Geny Catamo, but a calamitous attempted clearance from centre-back Nene minutes later let the Indomitable Lions back into the game following a penalty box frenzy. The scores were level at the break, but remained so only for another 10 minutes before teenaged Cameroon and Bayer Leverkusen striker Christian Kofane pickpocketed the Mozambican defence and hammered the ball into the net via the crossbar. That proved to be the decisive moment, despite further chances for both teams.
Over in Marrakesh, Ivory Coast were forced to come from two goals down after a spirited performance from already-eliminated Gabon but the Elephants eventually found their winner in stoppage time to set up a meeting with Group E runners-up Burkina Faso in the first round of this year’s AFCON knockout stage. Following this dramatic final night of group stage action, the knockout-stage fixtures begin on January 3. Relive all the action from Mozambique vs Cameroon below in our dedicated match blog.

Report: Indomitable Lions come from behind to beat Mambas in AFCON knockout decider
21:38 , Alex DakersCameroon and Mozambique both qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations round of 16 following a 2-1 comeback win for the Indomitable Lions in Agadir.
The Mambas - fresh from their first-ever victory in an AFCON match last weekend - opened the scoring in the 23rd minute thanks to a magical curling effort from the left boot of in-form midfielder Geny Catamo, who had provided both a goal and assist in the history-making win over Gabon days prior.
However, they were soon pegged back when a penalty box scramble resulted in defender Nene booting the ball into his own net when trying to make a clearance from the turf just five minutes later.
The two sides went into half-time level, and Cameroon head coach David Pagou withdrew Premier League stars Bryan Mbeumo and Carlos Baleba at the interval with each man sat on a yellow card that would have seen them suspended for the first knockout round had they picked up another.
Both teams lost players to injury through the opening 50 or so minutes, including Nene and Diogo Calila from the Mozambican backline plus Cameroonian skipper Nouhou Tolo.
But the decisive moment provided to be the interception of a slack pass by Bayer Leverkusen forward Christian Kofane five minutes before the hour mark, with the impressive 19-year-old then knocking the ball onto his right foot before rocketing it in via the crossbar from the edge of the area.

FT: Mozambique 1-2 Cameroon
20:54 , Alex Dakers95mins: Urrubal claims a long ball from Cameroon, and that’s all we have time for here at the Adrar Stadium!
So, it is Ivory Coast through at the top of Group F after all, meaning they’ll take on Burkina Faso, the runners-up from Group E.
Cameroon, as the second-placed team from this group, will face Group B’s South Africa in the round of 16.
Meanwhile, Mozambique should sneak through as one of the best third-place teams in the tournament. However, the Mambas will have to face Nigeria’s Super Eagles next!
Mozambique 1-2 Cameroon
20:53 , Alex Dakers93mins: Ivory Coast have found what is surely a late winner against Gabon, 3-2 to the Elephants in Marrakesh!
That news is trickling through here, and it means Ivory Coast are back on top of Group F! Cameroon back to second place.
Mozambique 1-2 Cameroon
20:50 , Alex Dakers90mins: Four minutes of stoppage time here in Agadir.
Mozambique 1-2 Cameroon
20:50 , Alex Dakers89mins: Christian Kofane is sent through on goal by a high, defence-splitting pass from the back but his back is to the net - meaning he doesn’t see Mozambican goalie Urrubal rushing out to nick the ball just in time.
He’s offside anyway, the Cameroon teenager.
Mozambique 1-2 Cameroon
20:46 , Alex Dakers87mins: Cameroon keep top stop in Group F as things stand, but Ivory Coast have found a late equaliser over in Marrakesh.
2-2 in that game against Gabon.
Mozambique 1-2 Cameroon
20:43 , Alex Dakers83mins: Mozambique really should have an equaliser now!
A huge miss by substitute Bonde, who shins the ball instead of kicking it when trying to hit a first-time volley following a lovely lofted through ball into Cameroon’s box.
Mozambique 1-2 Cameroon
20:42 , Alex Dakers81mins: Etta Eyong is shown a yellow card now.
Mozambique 1-2 Cameroon
20:39 , Alex Dakers78mins: CLOSE!
Karl Etta Eyong, played in by Christian Kofane, really should have put Cameroon two ahead there.
The substitute doesn’t hit the ball cleanly in front of an open goal, though, sending it straight to a Mozambican boot instead for a vital clearance.
Mozambique 1-2 Cameroon
20:35 , Alex Dakers75mins: Mozambique defender Nyamsi was booked for a bad foul a few minutes ago but helps his side get forward now, the move resulting in a blocked shot.
Mozambique 1-2 Cameroon
20:31 , Alex Dakers72mins: Frank Magri makes way for Karl Etta Eyong, who scored Cameroon’s first goal of this tournament to win their opener against Gabon - who, by the way, are still beating Ivory Coast 2-1 over in Marrakesh.
Mozambique 1-2 Cameroon
20:31 , Alex Dakers70mins: A Cameroon corner is whipped in and Mozambique defender Nyamsi blocks the first effort before goalkeeper Urrubal makes a fine stop to prevent the follow-up finding its way in.
Mozambique 1-2 Cameroon
20:26 , Alex Dakers67mins: A Mozambique free-kick flies in from deep courtesy of Bruno Langa, but it hits the first Cameroon man - hard.
That looked sore!
Mozambique 1-2 Cameroon
20:24 , Alex Dakers64mins: As Gabon still lead Ivory Coast 2-1, Cameroon are currently clear at the top of Group F.
They’ll face the Group E runner-up, which looks like Burkina Faso.
Ivory Coast are second, meaning they’ll take on South Africa next as things stand, with Mozambique third - meaning the Mambas are up against Nigeria next!
Mozambique 1-2 Cameroon
20:22 , Alex Dakers62mins: For Cameroon, Namaso is replaced by Ebimbe.
Mozambique 1-2 Cameroon
20:21 , Alex Dakers60mins: Mozambique respond to going behind by making two more changes, removing goal-scorer Geny Camato - perhaps saving his legs for the round of 16 - and Ratifo with Melque and Chamito.
Mozambique 1-2 Cameroon
20:18 , Alex Dakers58mins: Christopher Wooh gives away a free-kick on the edge of Cameroon’s penalty box, taking out Geny Catamo, and the substitute picks up a yellow card for his troubles.
GOAL! Mozambique 1-2 Cameroon
20:15 , Alex Dakers55mins: But now an absolute ROCKET from Christian Kofaine puts Cameroon in front!
What a goal by the 19-year-old Bayer Leverkusen forward, picking Mozambican pockets in a dangerous area before clattering the ball in off the crossbar from the edge of the area.

Mozambique 1-1 Cameroon
20:14 , Alex Dakers54mins: That one is cleared too, though, as are a few follow-ups before Kamdem’s effort from the edge of the penalty box is saved by Urrubal.
Mozambique 1-1 Cameroon
20:13 , Alex Dakers54mins: It hits a Mozambique body at the near post, and we’ll have another corner.
Mozambique 1-1 Cameroon
20:13 , Alex Dakers53mins: Cameroon substitute Kamdem fails to get a clean shot away, but wins his country a corner.
Mozambique 1-1 Cameroon
20:12 , Alex Dakers52mins: There will be two Mozambique changes, in fact, and here they come.
Domingues leaves the midfield and backline member Nene remains in the dugout, with Joao Bonde and Abdala coming on.
Mozambique 1-1 Cameroon
20:10 , Alex Dakers50mins: A Mozambique change is coming, but not just yet.
For now Cameroon are on the attack before the Mambas dispossess them cleanly and charge up the other end, only to be halted themselves.
Goal-scorer Geny is down hurt and own goal-scorer Nene is still on the side-lines after getting hurt a few minutes ago. Physical game, this!
Mozambique 1-1 Cameroon
20:08 , Alex Dakers47mins: Some eye-catching half-time changes from the Cameroon dugout, as Premier League stars Carlos Baleba and Bryan Mbeumo make way.
Both men are on yellow cards, to be fair, and would miss the round of 16 game if they picked up another caution today, so it makes sense from head coach David Pagou’s point of view.
Arnold Kamdem and Christian Bassogog are their replacements.
Back underway!
20:06 , Alex Dakers46mins: We go again for what promises to be another action-packed half in the Africa Cup of Nations.
Currently: Mozambique 1-1 Cameroon
Half-time stats
19:53 , Alex DakersCameroon shaded the possession stats and had three shots on target to Mozambique’s two, plus three corners to their opponent’s one.
Still, the Mambas will feel they are unlucky not to be ahead in this game, with the Indomitable Lions’ equaliser coming from a defensive error (admittedly one under pressure).
HT: Mozambique 1-1 Cameroon
19:50 , Alex DakersAll square at the break in Agadir following a great opener and a terrible own goal.
Back shortly!
Mozambique 1-1 Cameroon
19:48 , Alex Dakers45+3mins: Mozambique winger Gildo is being seen to after taking a knock to the side of the face in a 50/50 aerial challenge.
Mozambique 1-1 Cameroon
19:47 , Alex Dakers45+1mins: Urrubal punches the ball away in this first minute of four added on before the break.
Mozambique 1-1 Cameroon
19:46 , Alex Dakers45mins: Ivory Coast have pulled a goal back against Gabon, but still trail 2-1 in Marrakesh.
That means that combined with our score-line, it’s Cameroon top of Group F with Ivory Coast second.
Mozambique are third but should still go through, in which case they’d face Nigeria.
Mozambique 1-1 Cameroon
19:45 , Alex Dakers44mins: Mbeumo hits a sweet cutback with the side of his left boot but it deflects out for a corner, which the Manchester United man takes.
The delivery is cleared at the near post by Mozambique.
Mozambique 1-1 Cameroon
19:43 , Alex Dakers42mins: Christopher Wooh is the man brought on in Tolo’s place as we approach half-time.
Both sides forced to make changes in this first half due to injuries. Not what anyone likes to see.
Mozambique 1-1 Cameroon
19:42 , Alex Dakers41mins: Cameroon captain Nouhou Tolo can’t continue here after hurting himself jostling for possession.

That’s a big blow for the Indomitable Lions, who are already a little fortunate to be level here.
GOAL DISALLOWED! Mozambique 1-1 Cameroon
19:40 , Alex Dakers38mins: Christian Kofaine thinks he’s doubled Cameroon’s lead, and I thought he had done so as well, but the flag is up for offside.
It’s the right call, as he was marginally behind Mozambique’s backline before racing through on goal and rounding the ‘keeper to slot home into an empty net.
Mozambique 1-1 Cameroon
19:38 , Alex Dakers37mins: The delivery looks threatening for a second but Mozambique mark Frank Magri well to thwart the Cameroon target man and boot it clear.
Mozambique 1-1 Cameroon
19:37 , Alex Dakers36mins: A clutch sliding tackle from Infren Matola stops a Cameroon cross and sends the ball out for a corner.
GOAL! Mozambique 1-1 Cameroon
19:36 , Alex Dakers28mins: A gutting way to concede for Mozambique, who have put the ball in the back of their own net after a penalty box scramble!
Saves, blocks, a shot off the post, and in the end Nene - lying on the turf - tries to clear the ball but he’s facing his own goalmouth and puts it in there instead.

Head coach Chiquinho Conde won’t be happy with that one.

Mozambique 1-1 Cameroon
19:35 , Alex Dakers34mins: Cameroon goalkeeper Epassy races out to claim a dangerous looking Mozambique cross into his box.
He gets the ball cleanly but clatters into Ratifo as he does so, and the opposition forward stays down for a bit but will be okay to continue.
It’s actually the Mozambique man who’s penalised for a foul anyway!
GOAL! Mozambique 1-0 Cameroon
19:27 , Alex Dakers23mins: MOZAMBIQUE LEAD!
A moment of magic, a sumptuous left-footed curler from the in-form Geny Catamo, and the Mambas lead in Agadir.
Left-back Infren Matola provided the assist, but Catamo did all the hard work with that strike to add to his penalty goal and assist in his country’s historic win last time out.

I do believe that puts them top of Group F as things stand, too, with Ivory Coast still losing to Gabon in Marrakesh - now by two goals to nil!
Mozambique 0-0 Cameroon
19:23 , Alex Dakers23mins: Roger Milla, another Cameroon footballing icon, is also watching on here in Agadir.
There are a fair few international goals between he and Eto’o!
On the pitch, there’s a free-kick for the Mambas.
Mozambique 0-0 Cameroon
19:21 , Alex Dakers20mins: Kemen tries to find left-back Nagida on the byline but there’s too much pace on the ball and it trickles out of play.
Mozambique 0-0 Cameroon
19:19 , Alex Dakers19mins: It’s been all Cameroon recently, but Mozambique have a short spell in possession before Kofaine wins the ball back.
Mozambique 0-0 Cameroon
19:18 , Alex Dakers18mins: Over in Marrakesh, Gabon have taken a shock lead against Ivory Coast!
As things stand, that puts Cameroon top of Group F, with Mozambique behind them in second place, followed by Ivory Coast in third - on four points, so still well-placed to progress - and Gabon still at the bottom but fighting for pride.
Mozambique 0-0 Cameroon
19:17 , Alex Dakers16mins: Bryan Mbeumo sends Christian Kofaine through on goal, but Ivane Urrubal rushes out to make a vital stop.
After the resulting corner, Kofaine has another chance in the six yard box but it misses high and wide to the right.
Mozambique 0-0 Cameroon
19:16 , Alex Dakers15mins: Calila stays off the pitch and will be substituted now, with Bruno Langa coming on in his place.
Disappointing for the right-back, who scored in Mozambique’s previous game and is putting an ice pack on his lower limb now.
Mozambique 0-0 Cameroon
19:15 , Alex Dakers13mins: Diogo Calila received on-pitch treatment for an injury a moment ago; we’ll see if he can continue.
Mozambique 0-0 Cameroon
19:12 , Alex Dakers11min: Magri is free on the right hand side of the penalty box for Cameroon, but a Mozambique block sends his attempted cross out for a throw-in.
Mozambique 0-0 Cameroon
19:10 , Alex Dakers9mins: The lofted delivery floats across Cameroon’s box but the ball back in is much more dangerous.
Cameroon goalie Epassy comes off his line and spills the cross, forcing one of his defenders to make a crucial block and clearance to prevent a Mozambique opener.
Mere moments later, Mozambique gallop forward again and Catamo crosses low across the box but Gildo doesn’t get the cleanest of connections on his first-time effort and Epassy makes the stop.
Mozambique 0-0 Cameroon
19:08 , Alex Dakers8mins: It’s been a pretty physical game so far, with the latest foul given away by Cameroon forward Frank Magri for a shoulder charge on Mozambique star Geny Catamo.
Mozambique 0-0 Cameroon
19:06 , Alex Dakers5mins: My goodness, a scary moment for Mozambique.
The Mambas’ stand-in goalie Ivane Urrubal - who is currently down receiving treatment - is pulled off his line going to claim a loose ball, but Cameroon poke it free and have an open net for what seems like an age.
Urrubal gets back in position to grab the eventual ball that comes back in from Danny Namaso, though.
Opportunity missed for Cameroon, a wake-up call for Mozambique.
Mozambique 0-0 Cameroon
19:04 , Alex Dakers3mins: When you consider that Mozambique would go through to the round of 16 with a draw, their decision to rest a few of the stars from the weekend’s win over Gabon makes a little more sense.
Goalkeeper Siluane and striker Bangal are among players currently on one yellow card, and another in this game would see them suspended for the first knockout round.
KICK-OFF!
19:01 , Alex Dakers1min: We're underway in Agadir as Mozambique take on Cameroon, with both teams aiming for a place in the AFCON round of 16.
Teams on the pitch
18:55 , Alex DakersBoth sets of players are on the pitch at Adrar Stadium now, so it’s time for the anthems.
Kick-off next!
Eto'o watching on
18:53 , Alex DakersSamuel Eto’o, the legendary former striker and now president of Cameroon’s football federation, is in attendance for today’s game in Agadir.

Will they miss his goal-scoring abilities today, the Indomitable Lions, or can the likes of Bryan Mbeumo and Christian Kofane - who nearly found the back of the net on his debut last time out - get the job done?
We’ll soon find out!

Almost showtime...
18:50 , Alex DakersJust 10 minutes until kick-off in this AFCON Group F decider between Mozambique and Cameroon!
The teams will be out on the pitch at Adrar Stadium for the national anthems shortly, and we’ll bring you all the latest updates once we’re underway.
Mozambique aiming for more history
18:44 , Alex DakersMozambique have a chance at more history today.
The Mambas, fresh from winning their first-ever match at AFCON on their 17th attempt, could now qualify for the knockout stages automatically with a win over Cameroon.
Even a draw should be enough to see them through as one of the best third-placed teams in the tournament, meanwhile.
Another reminder of the current standings in Group F:

Cameroon with big boots to fill
18:39 , Alex DakersCameroon have won this competition five times in history, and haven’t failed to make it out of the AFCON group stage since 2015.
No pressure today then, lads!
Here’s some of the squad heading out for the match earlier:

They’ve only scored one goal of their own accord so far at this year’s tournament, but the Indomitable Lions will be many watchers’ favourites to win today.
Doing so would send them through in second place from Group F or possibly at the top of the table depending on the result between Ivory Coast and Gabon.
Countdown to kick-off
18:30 , Alex DakersHalf an hour until kick-off here in Agadir.
Mozambique and Cameroon fans - are you nervous or excited?
AFCON, as always, has provided plenty of exciting moments already in this year’s group stage, so all the neutrals out there will be hoping for more of the same even if those with skin in the game might be happy enough with a draw that sees both countries progress!

Mozambique XI: Some unexpected changes
18:29 , Alex DakersMozambique, meanwhile, have made a few unexpected changes to the side that secured a first-ever AFCON victory last time out.
There first of those comes between the posts, where the impressive Ernani Siluane - who does have a yellow card - is benched for Ivane Urrubal.
Right-back Diogo Calila, a goal-scoring against Gabon, keeps his spot, but the rest of the back four is swapped out with Mexer, Sunderland’s Reinildo and left-back Bruno Langa replaced by Chamboco, Edmilson and Infren Matola.
Guima and Alfons Amade are replaced in central midfield by Kambala and Nene, while on the left wing it’s Gildo instead of Witi. Catamo, who registered an assist last time out before scoring a penalty, keeps his place on the right, as does Domingues at No10, but opening goal-scorer Faizal Bangal is replaced up top by Stanley Ratifo.

What formation will Cameroon be playing?
18:16 , Alex DakersI’ve taken that formation from the official line-ups posted by AFCON 2025 online, but Cameroon’s Twitter/X account suggests slightly different positioning with Mbeumo on the right...
We’ll find out soon either way, with kick-off less than 45 minutes away!

Cameroon XI: Mbeumo and Baleba both start
18:13 , Alex DakersThose familiar faces are Manchester United’s Bryan Mbeumo and Brighton’s Carlos Baleba, who both start today for Cameroon in what looks to be a 3-4-2-1 with Mbeumo behind a front two of Christian Kofane and the incoming Frank Magri.
Danny Namaso moves from left attacking midfield to right wing-back in place of the suspended Justin Tchamadeu, meanwhile, and two changes in the backline see Samuel Junior Kotto and Che Malone replaced by Gerzino Nyamsi and Flavien-Enzo Boyomos.
Darline Yongwa drops out at left wing-back in favour of Mahamadou Nagida, and in central midfield Baleba will be partnered by Olivier Kemen rather than Arthur Avom.

Cameroon starting line-up and confirmed team news
17:59 , Alex DakersAnd some familiar faces to Premier League fans in the Cameroon line-up...
Cameroon XI: Epassy; Boyomos, Nyamsi, Tolo; Namaso, Kemen, Baleba, Nagida; Mbeumo; Kofane, Magri
Subs: Medjo, Ngapandouetnbu, Wooh, Sombang, Eyong, Malone, Kotto, Ebimbe, Ngameni, Kamdem, Nkoudou, Onana, Bassogog, Soko, Avon
Mozambique starting line-up and confirmed team news
17:56 , Alex DakersA few changes for the Mambas from Sunday’s historic win!
Mozambique XI: Ivane; Calila, Chamboco, Edmilson, Infren; Kambala, Nene; Catamo, Domingues, Gildo; Ratifo
Subs: Guimaraes, Melque, Ernani, Alfandega, Cherene, Bonde, Bangal, Amade, Abdala, Zavala, Reinildo, Mexer, Witi, Langa
Last time out: Stalemate for Cameroon
17:52 , Alex DakersIn their own most recent appearance, Cameroon were forced to settle for a share of the points in their Africa Cup of Nations showdown with Ivory Coast on Sunday.
In a battle between the holders and five-time AFCON winners, a 1-1 draw left both teams on four points after two games and, crucially, still on course to qualify for the round of 16.
Christian Kofane, on his debut for Cameroon, came closest to breaking the deadlock in the opening 45 minutes as his effort from close range smacked against the crossbar.
Either side of a disallowed goal for Ivory Coast, the Indomitable Lions twice went close through Danny Namaso. The Auxerre attacking midfielder saw an effort from close range turned behind for a corner and then had a deflected effort hit the bar.
Manchester United winger Amad Diallo eventually opened the scoring with a fine curling effort - bringing up his second goal in as many games - but the lead lasted all of five minutes with Junior Tchamadeu equalising with a deflected effort which has since been credited as a Ghislain Konan own goal.
Read the full match report here!

Last time out: Mozambique make history
17:43 , Alex DakersMozambique goalkeeper Hermani Siluane impressed in the history-making, first-ever AFCON win last time out against Gabon.
Siluane made eight saves, and at the other end Chiquinho Conde’s crew were fairly clinical, converting three of their five shots on target.
Central to much of that attacking play was midfielder Geny Catamo, who set up forward Faisal Bangal’s 37th-minute opener before converting a penalty five minutes later.
Gabon halved the deficit twice, before and after defender Diogo Calila scored his country’s third of the game, but in the end it was the Mambas’ day.
As we’ve mentioned, they’re already well-placed to progress to the last-16 for the first time as one of the best third-place teams. However, second place in Group F is still up for grabs if they can upset five-time winners Cameroon today.

Group F as it stands
17:30 , Alex DakersHere’s a quick look at how Group F looks prior to today’s games:

Winless Gabon are already eliminated prior to their match against Ivory Coast, but did put up a decent fight against Mozambique so could cause problems for the Elephants, who are aiming to finish top of the group with a big win today.
The Mambas have three points courtesy of their win over Gabon, while Cameroon have a point more.
It means both sides would go through with a win, but each could also progress with a draw given the four best third-placed teams out of the six groups go through to the last-16.
The third place rankings at the moment are below (Sudan are currently losing to Burkina Faso in Group E’s closer):

AFCON pedigree vs potential history-makers
17:15 , Alex DakersCameroon have won the Africa Cup of Nations five times (most recently in 2017), and they’ve emerged from the group stage in every edition of the tournament since 2015.
The Indomitable Lions also reached the semi-finals for the tenth time in 2021.

Mozambique, meanwhile, had never won a game at AFCON before Sunday’s victory over Gabon, so it follows that the Mambas have never seen the knockout stage of this tournament before.
Will they get a result today that sends them there this time around, making more history?

Standard Sport prediction
17:05 , Alex DakersA draw should be enough for both sides to reach the AFCON round of 16, with Mozambique currently among the best-ranked third-placed teams in the tournament on three points ahead of this game.
Cameroon, meanwhile, are second at the moment behind Ivory Coast, who face Gabon in today’s other 7pm GMT kick-off.
The Mambas drew a blank against Ivory Coast in their opener but bounced back with three goals to beat Gabon last time out, while Cameroon beat Gabon 1-0 in their opener before securing a 1-1 draw with Ivory Coast thanks to an own goal in their most recent appearance.
With all of that in mind, we wouldn’t be surprised to see a low scoring stalemate here in Agadir, but we’ll opt for a narrow Cameroon victory instead. Manchester United star Bryan Mbeumo to open his account?
Cameroon to win, 2-1.
Head to head (h2h) record and history
17:00 , Alex DakersWhile this is the first meeting of these two countries at the AFCON finals, it is the ninth time they have played each other in history.
Dauntingly for Mozambique, five-time AFCON winners Cameroon have won seven of the previous eight matches, with the Mambas’ single victory coming in their first encounter with the Indomitable Lions during 1984 AFCON qualifying.
Mozambique wins: 1
Cameroon wins: 7
Draws: 0
Cameroon early team news
16:50 , Alex DakersThere will be at least one enforced change for Cameroon, with Junior Tchamadeu suspended.
Junior Dina Ebimbe could therefore be deployed on the right flank of the usual 3-4-2-1.
Otherwise, Devis Epassy should remain in goal, behind a likely back three of Che Malone, Samuel Kotto and Nouhou Tolo.
Brighton youngster Carlos Baleba will be expected to anchor the midfield alongside Arthur Avom, with Darlin Yongwa providing width on the left flank.
Further forward, Manchester United star Bryan Mbeumo will surely continue supporting Christian Kofane in attack, with Danny Namaso on the opposite side.
Still, a goal for Karl Etta Eyong - the only scorer for the Indomitable Lions so far at AFCON 2025 - against Gabon earlier in the tournament highlights the squad depth available to boss David Pagou.

Mozambique early team news
16:45 , Alex DakersWith no fresh injury concerns reported, Mozambique head coach Chiquinho Conde could name an unchanged line-up from his team’s last match here on Sunday, which ended with the Mambas securing their first-ever win at AFCON thanks to a 3-2 victory over Gabon.
Ernan Siluane will be expected to continue between the posts, behind a backline of Diogo Calila, Mexer, Sunderland’s Reinildo Mandava and Bruno Langa.
In midfield, Guima and Alfons Amade protect the defence are with Geny Catamo - who scored from the penalty spot last time out - plus Domingues and Witi roaming behind Faisal Bangal.
