Inside West Ham's return to full contract training at Rush Green
West Ham’s players have been back in full contact training for a little more than a week as Government restrictions on elite athletes and their training was eased amid the coronavirus pandemic.
They haven’t played a fixture since defeat to Arsenal on March 7 and it will have been 13 weeks since then when they emerge at an empty London Stadium to face Wolves on June 20 as the Premier League makes its long-awaited comeback.
But what have they been working on as a squad as the battle against the drop looms large?

Tomas Soucek signs up for the rest of the season
Midfielder Tomas Soucek has extended his loan at West Ham until the end of the current season, which is set to be on July 26.
The Slavia Prague midfielder’s loan was due to expire on June 30 but with the extension of the Premier League season amid the coronavirus outbreak, new rules were brought in for loan players and those whose contracts were expiring.
Both West Ham and Soucek have agreed to the new terms of the loan deal which will now expire after the Hammers face Aston Villa on the final day of the season which is set to be on July 26.

West Ham linked with Michy Batshuayi....again
It's the transfer rumour that refuses to go away.
Now that Chelsea are reportedly closing in on a deal to sign RB Leipzig hitman Timo Werner, that means Michy Batshu8ayi is surplus to requirement so, naturally, West Ham want to sign him for what seems the sixth or seventh time.
The price tag hasn't changed, £40million, which West Ham can't afford anyway in a post Covid-19 pandemic transfer market.
