Popular Indian street food chain Mowgli is heading to Leeds in 2020 - and we can now reveal when it will open.
The UK chain has gained fans in cities such as Manchester, Liverpool and Sheffield for its swing seats and living trees that snake through the restaurant.
Mowgli founder Nisha Katona has now delivered the news that people in Leeds want to hear after finding the "perfect" venue.
Nisha took to Instagram to say: "Finally!!!! So excited to announce MOWGLI LEEDS has been secured today and now has spades in the ground.
"A beautiful glass fronted building on a busy and very 'Mowgli' street.
"Leeds is a city I have hankered after for the last four years. I had to find exactly the right place and exactly the right building and it took this long."
The new restaurant will open at 34 Boar Lane - the building has been recently renovated, with scaffolding being removed just a few weeks ago to reveal the front of the new restaurant.
Nisha also confirmed the restaurant would open in March and said: "I have an insecure attachment to this city of Leeds after four years of chasing her!"
Although an exact date has not yet been confirmed, the clock is ticking and Mowgli will throw open the doors to its new Leeds restaurant in just a few weeks.
It will become the latest in a spate of new venues to open on the busy Leeds city centre road, following the arrivals of nearby The Bankers Cat and Beerhawk nearby.
